Finding your own personal style all the while meeting business professional criteria can be a challenge without the right support or knowledge. The good thing is there are resources to help you navigate this part so you can feel your best before starting the rest.
Vol 1. Basics: How to dress Business Professional?
No matter the look, solid, neutral colors such as black, gray and navy are best. Keep any accessories minimal, avoiding items like chunky jewelry or any jewelry that makes noise when it moves, oversized belts or a busy tie. Business professional outfits typically coordinate and are well fitting and have an overall polished look.
Having a hard time finding a suit or set that fits just right? Or looking for more bang for your buck? Hit the thrift stores and find a style you feel confident in and take it to get tailored. Oftentimes this can be a lot more affordable and boost your confidence in ways you wouldn’t expect. Students can even check out the career closet on campus and access professional clothing for free!
