How It All Works

Structure

Each class session will look relatively the same.

  • There will be a blog post or certification due each class.
  • Each class will start with a discussion about current digital marketing news or events.
  • Since this class strives to help students learn about a wide variety of digital marketing topics, each class session will discuss a different topic related to the blog that is due that day.
  • Most class sessions will also have a guest speaker who is an alumni of the school or class and who does work related to the topic. Students can ask questions and get an inside look at what these skills look like in action.

Assignments

Blog posts

  • For each blog post you will be given a series of articles for that day’s topic as well as a guided list of things to cover in your blog.
  • The blogs are meant to demonstrate your understanding and interest in each topic.

Certifications

  • On days that certifications are due, the class will not meet in order to give you enough time to complete it.
  • Certifications can give you the upper hand by demonstrating your skills and knowledge to potential employers.
