As I settle into what will be my final quarter at Western Washington University with graduation right around the corner, I am reflecting on my experiences the past few quarters. Instead of focusing on the end of my higher education experience, I want to focus on the beginning of my journey as a product manager managing a group of creative content creators.

What is Agile?

Agile is an iterative approach to project management that helps teams deliver value to their consumers by working on and releasing small increments of work rather than mass production of a product. With the agile philosophy, teams are constantly checking in with each other to plan, review, and evaluate work. With the agile process teams focus their energy and resources on smaller tasks and deliverables rather than the overarching end product. This leads us to some components of agile:

How I Created My Explainer Video

Why a Video?

We live in a digital world, specifically a digital video world. Studies have shown that our brains process visuals 60,000 times faster than plain text. Hubspot also found that video content is preferred over other forms of content from brands/businesses. It is also clear that short videos (90 seconds or less) have much higher retention—viewers are more likely to watch the video all the way through, as most people lose interest very shortly into long videos.
