Senior Sunday: Marisa Brown

Welcome to the fourth week of Senior Sunday! We are continuing to document our outstanding graduating seniors and give them the celebration they deserve during this pandemic. 

Marisa Brown

Marisa Brown will be graduating this spring quarter with a major in Marketing. Throughout her time at Western, Marisa was a volunteer leader for Younglife, Ekklesia College Ministry and a barista at Caffe Adagio. Marisa chose to major in marketing because it offers a foundation in business skills applicable to a variety of jobs. She also explains that a marketing degree will help her obtain her achieve her dream job of working for a non-profit. During her sophomore year of high school, Marisa visited World Relief which provides refuge to individuals who need safe restatement and assistance. She was deeply moved by the experience and believes a marketing degree has motivated her to use these skills to do better. As for now Marisa is still looking for opportunities within non-profit industry.
