Senior Sunday: Hunter Tripp

Welcome to the first Senior Sunday blog of Spring Quarter 2020! Due to the unfortunate circumstances of COVID-19, Western is holding it's classes remotely and Spring Commencement has been moved to an online format. The Marketing Department wants to make light of this situation by celebrating the graduating Marketing students through weekly blog posts.

Hunter Tripp

Hunter is a senior marketing student with a minor in psychology who is graduating this spring! Hunter has numerous accomplishments throughout his academic career, including being nominated as Vice President of fundraising for SMA, and being an intern for the San Juan Airlines. Hunter’s favorite class at Western was Branding with Tejvir Sekhon and his dream job is to be a brand manager. A professor who positively impacted Hunter through his academic career was Dan Purdy because he always had his door open to give advice whether it be for marketing or just for life. “He was always patient and diligent in making sure I understood what he was describing. Having that extra help made a huge difference in my class performance, study habits, and understanding problems.” Hunter is currently looking for opportunities post-graduation within the Marketing industry.

• Scholarship receiver of the Settelmyer Scholarship
