Senior Sunday: Amy Kellogg

Welcome to the second week of Senior Sunday! Because of the unfortunate events that have unfolded because of Covid-19 such as Western going fully online as well as graduation commencement being virtual. I feel honored being apart of a team that is devoted to bringing an extra platform for acknowledging the graduating class and all of their outstanding achievements. Cheers to the class of 2020, we deserve it!

Amy Kellogg will be graduating this Spring with a major in Marketing and a minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She chose this path because people have told her that she can easily sell things to people without meaning to! Amy has dipped her toes into many different areas during her college career and has forced herself out of her comfort zone by joining groups like the Salsa Club on campus. Western was her first-choice school when she decided to attend college, and she has stood by that decision ever since! Her favorite thing to do in Bellingham is walk around town and enjoy everything that the city has to offer. Amy has felt that her professors at Western have cared deeply about her as a student. She will forever be grateful for professors like Dan Purdy who gave her support during a dark period of time when events in her personal life had impacted her studies. Thank you for your amazing contributions to WWU, Amy!

Fun Facts:

  • Amy plans to use her marketing knowledge to start up her own Bakery!
  • Her post-graduation plans are to backpack around Europe and then jump start her pastry business.
  • Her favorite Marketing class was Principles of Marketing (MKTG 380)
