Reid Dorsey-Palmateer received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan in 2015. His research interests cover a variety of energy economics topics, such as energy efficiency in housing, environmental policy (especially carbon taxation), and economic issues with integrating additional renewable energy generation into the grid and he has recently published in journals such as Energy Economics and Energy Policy.  Reid has taught a variety of classes, mostly connected to energy or environmental fields, including Energy Economics, Alternative Energy Economics, Advanced Topics in Environmental Economics, and Introduction to Microeconomics.
