About

Xiaofeng Chen is an associate professor of MIS in the Department of Decision Sciences of the College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University. He received his Ph.D. in MIS from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). He joined the College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University in 2014. He teaches courses in business database development, business intelligence and analytics, and business application development. His research interests include IS security, IT business value, business intelligence/analytics, design science research, and e-service development. He has publications in I&M, JDM, JCIS, JOEUC, and others. He has over 16 years of professional experience in information systems development.
