About
Professor Hua held a faculty position at Oregon State University prior to joining Western Washington University in 2002. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has been certified by APICS in Production & Inventory Management since 2001. Her research focuses on process improvement, public procurement, and supply chain sustainability. Her work has appeared in a variety of academic journals, including IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Production Innovation Management, International Journal of Production Research, and the International Journal of Environmental, Cultural, Economic, and Social Sustainability: Annual Review. For the past 20 years, she has been teaching undergraduate, graduate, and executive level supply chain management courses, and working with supply chain professionals and executives from a wide range of industries. She also worked as a Senior Supply Chain Consultant at Boeing.
