Artist Spotlight - Savannah LeCornu
Savannah LeCornu was recently awarded the Harpo Foundation Fellowship for Native American Artists by the Vermont Studio Center and will be completing a residency there in the Fall of 2023
Artist Spotlight - Jazz Brown
Described as a philosophical painter, artist Jazz Brown’s work has been exhibited at CoCA, Bellevue Art Museum and Martyr Sauce and was featured in the 2018 City Arts Future List in City Arts Magazine.
CBE and Me
The CBE and Me project, led by committee members Teri Hall and Cat Armstrong Soule, involved collecting stories from CBE alumni about their experiences in the college. These stories are featured on the CBE and Me website and on posters throughout Parks Hall.
DEI Now Panel
The AEID committee organized a panel on May 29th, 2024 with guest speakers Liz Baxter (Chief Executive Officer, North South ACH), Scott Callahan (Associate Vice President, AgWest Farm Credit), and Jesse Rhodes (Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Leader, Amazon). The speakers shared their experiences leading and navigating organizations in the current era of societal pushback against DEI programs.
