Western’s College of Business and Economics helped shape the leader I am today.

As a graduate of the Operations Management program with a minor in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, I’m now Plant Manager at a 65+ year-old Seattle based manufacturing company. In this role, I have the privilege of supporting our manufacturing teams and serving electricians, construction engineers, electrical distributors, and the general public by delivering quality, clean electric heat across the nation.

My time at Western went far beyond coursework. At CBE, I learned the importance of stewardship, service, leadership, and ethical business practices; principles that continue to guide how I show up in my career and in my community. I gained real-world insight into supply chain and business challenges, built lasting connections with fellow problem-solvers, and found a sense of belonging that still resonates today.

Western’s College of Business and Economics is more than a program—it’s a community. Its impact would not be possible without the compassion and dedication of its professors, the continued engagement of its alumni, and the support of industry partners who recognize the value of a CBE education. I am deeply grateful to those who invested in my growth and proud to be an alumna during this 50-year celebration.
