Dr. Wilhelm is a Professor of Marketing in the College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University. She is originally from Ithaca, New York, and received her BA in Psychology and French from Tufts University (Boston) and the University of Geneva (Switzerland), an MBA from Cornell, and a PhD in Marketing and Psychology from the University of Washington. She has worked in brand management at Gillette and Armour-Dial, and in account services with Wells, Rich, Greene, an advertising agency in Manhattan. Wendy has been at WWU since 1986, except for a two year stint teaching at the University of Otago in New Zealand. Her current research and teaching interests are in sustainable/environmental marketing.
