MBA Career Services
As a WWU MBA Candidate you will begin your experience with us by participating in a multiple day orientation where you will be introduced to the many tools and resources that are available to you. In addition, individualized coaching, MBA career resources, and multiple events are available throughout the year.
The MBA Career Services office's mission includes to both successfully prepare students of our program to attain their career goals and to work with employers so that they are aware of the caliber of our students and how to successfully recruit them.
We are proud of our ability to offer a personalized approach to both of these very important stakeholder groups students and employers. We have students that bring unique backgrounds and experiences to our program and we know that there are employers who have unique needs. We are here to review each person's and organization's needs and determine which plan of action will yield the most favorable results.

Effie has been a part of the MBA program since October 2010 when she became the first incumbent of the newly created MBA Career Services office. Previously she worked as the Employer Relations Manager for WWU's Career Services Center, starting there in April 2004. Effie's career originally began in the field of Human Resources where she spent 15 years working in all aspects of Human Resources. She especially enjoyed her work in the start-up of several Greenfield operations where she was involved in organizational design and implementation, including recruitment.
