After graduating from WWU with a degree in International business and Econ minor, I went on to get an MBA at the University of Tampa. Then I moved back home in Bulgaria in 2007 where I landed a job in media monitoring and analysis (tracking the image of companies and brands in the news media). That gig got me into the marketing and advertising world, mostly on the PR and research side of things. After short stint as a brand consultant, in 2009 I went back to media monitoring and analysis but this time with a focus on the emerging social media as a source of market and consumer research insights. For the past 11 years I have been part of Publicis Groupe, one of the top 3 marcom conglomerates in the world, and 5 years I was promoted to VP of Social Intelligence. Additionally, in 2025 I was inducted in the Social Intelligence Lab (the social intelligence industry governing body) Global Hall of Fame and was appointed Chairman of the Steering Committee of the association.
