Two BAs (Accounting, Business Adm). Silicon Valley financial roles with Hewlett Packard and Applied Materials. Then off to Dell Technologies for 12 years with a final role of Head of Strategy, reporting to Michael Dell. Focus change when I moved to Alcoa (who owned Intalco) as President of Business Operations, reporting to the CEO and Chairman. Afterwards, the CFO of a Blackstone portfolio company that we took public on the NYSE. And finally the CFO of a venture-backed technology company that owns WordPress, WooCommerce, an enterprise SaaS platform, and an incubator that owns Tumblr, and nine other emerging products.
What is your favorite CBE Memory
Pizza nights with the Accounting Society and hanging with Business School friends at happy hours with free food (as we didn't have money for real nutrition!). Oh, and playing for the Vikings hockey team that won Pac10 hockey championship against the University of Arizona.
