The Baker Tilly Student Success Center is the main resource hub for academic support, clubs, activities, and career preparation. It welcomes over 16,000 student visits each quarter, underscoring its vital role in student life.
CBE’s 16 student clubs are active and highly regarded. WWU DECA and Beta Alpha Psi consistently earn top awards and recognition for excellence.
CBE integrates emerging technologies and AI into its curriculum and events through courses, workshops, and guest speakers. In 2025-26, CBE held campus-wide AI events on job skills, expert insights, and business applications.

CBE awards $260,000 in scholarships annually, expanding access to education and recognizing student achievement.
AACSB recognizes three types of intellectual contributions and publications by faculty: discovery scholarship, applied scholarship, and teaching and learning scholarship. CBE demonstrates a strong commitment to all three categories with 54 publications, so far, in the 2025-26 year; 53 in 2024-25, and 79 in 2023-24.
Each year, 200 students gain real-world experience through for-credit internships. These opportunities help them develop essential career skills.

The Center for Economic and Business Research (CEBR) delivers customized research and forecasting to diverse partners across the region. Students and faculty collaborate on real-world projects that support data-driven decision-making.
The Center for Economic and Financial Education (CEFE) equips K–12 educators statewide with free training and resources to teach personal finance and economics, conducts influential research to inform state policies on financial literacy and supports teacher professional development through workshops and courses.
CBE prepares students for successful careers. According to a 2025 survey, 94% of business graduates were employed within six months of graduation, with a median starting salary of $65,000 and an average salary of $118,000 after ten years.
