How did Dan help you navigate your course requirements, select classes, or plan your academic path?
"Dan really helped me decide to go into consulting. He pushed me more into a niche area of consulting and it helped me feel a great strong connection with him. I did have to rise up and go to him, but I'm so glad I did!"
How did Dan help you feel a sense of belonging in the marketing program?
"Dan makes it okay to fail. There are many times I absolutely fail terribly. For example, after the case competition. Dan helped show me where I went wrong and was proud that I tried. It is always better to do something than not do."
"My advisor through the marketing program was Dan Purdy, he helped out a lot. Dan was always available whenever I needed advice or had concerns. Before I got into the program I met with him to understand the program. He broke it down to me as simple as he could which in turn helped me graduate without straying away from my goals in the program. He specified to complete marketing 381 and 382 as soon as possible in order for me to unlock all the major classes."
