Kick Off Your College Journey with the CBE First Year Community!

CBE First Year Business Community is an immersive program designed just for incoming College of Business and Economics students.

Meet new friends, connect with faculty and student leaders, and discover what it means to be part of the CBE community.
Through fun team challenges, hands-on activities, and real-world business experiences, you'll build confidence, develop leadership skills, and feel ready for your first year.

With space for just 100 students, you'll be part of a close-knit cohort that starts college together. This is sure to be an engaging, active, and memorable start to your first year!

Cost is $90
Waivers for Pell Eligible Students are automatically granted in cases of financial hardship and based on eligibility and Expected Family Contribution (EFC). Additional information about Pell eligibility is available online.
Registration open until September 2, 2026 (or until full.)
Move in by September 17 strongly recommended
