I have been with Daimler Truck North America for 30 years since 1995 when I graduated from WWU. I was one of the first 3 graduates from what was called the Manufacturing Management degree. I started off working on ISO9000 certification, moved on to be a Quality Engineer, Quality Manager, Production Manager, Six Sigma Master Black Belt and eventually a Director of Field Service before my current role of Director of Customer Experience at Daimler Truck North America.

Myself and a few others did a fun project at Boeing re-designing one of their assembly areas for better flow. The internships that were required as part of the degree were invaluable and I was able to do 3 while in the program. I remember a lot of smaller classes with great projects led by Peter Haug and Mark Springer. It was a close working relationship with students and professors.
