Each manufacturing and supply chain management student will gain valuable work experience by completing six-months of internship experience, typically two three-month internships. These internship experiences bring relevance to the students’ education with real-world application of the concepts learned in the classroom.
How to Secure an Internship
You will receive help, support, and advice from faculty and advisory board members, but it is the responsibility of each student to actively prepare, search, interview and secure their own internships.
Tips:
- Utilize your industry mentor to network and develop industry contacts.
- Contact MSCM alumni.
- Contact and develop relationships with advisory board members.
- Check internship postings regularly and start applying fall quarter.
- Develop a strong resume and keep it current.
