CEFE's Annual Impact Report

Over the past year, CEFE has expanded its reach and deepened its work with educators, schools, and partners statewide. Together, we’ve supported classroom instruction, professional learning, and research efforts that contribute to stronger financial education opportunities for students. Among the highlights from 2025 are:

• Expanded statewide professional development reach by supporting over 135 K–12 educators and reaching about 3,500 students across Washington.
• Researched effective K-12 financial education course models through a legislature-funded study involving nearly 1,600 students and 39 educators across 30 schools, generating evidence-based insights to inform instructional practice and state education policy.
• Convened over 100 educators, policymakers, and business leaders at the 2025 Washington Economics Symposium.

• Engaged students from over 50 Washington schools in the Stock Market Game - providing over $4,700 in scholarships to schools with need.
