Recruiters at both small and large organizations recognize WWU MBAs as employees who work hard and get things done. This "can do" attitude is instilled in our students throughout their career in our program. Our students are educated to be strategic thinkers, collaborators and problem solvers.

The MBA Career Services office is here to help you connect with these students whether you are looking for a permanent full-time hire, an intern for the summer, or have a short term project.

Meet Effie Eisses, Assistant Director of MBA Career Services

Effie has been a part of the MBA program since October 2010 when she became the first incumbent of the newly created MBA Career Services office. Previously she worked as the Employer Relations Manager for WWU's Career Services Center, starting there in April 2004. Effie's career originally began in the field of Human Resources where she spent 15 years working in all aspects of Human Resources. She especially enjoyed her work in the start-up of several Greenfield operations where she was involved in organizational design and implementation, including recruitment.

At WWU MBA Career Services, we pride ourselves on offering a customized approach for employers with the goal of making it easy to connect to qualified candidates. Please contact Effie Eisses, so that we can help you customize your approach to recruiting.

For more information, feel free to browse our special Employers page, which contains detailed information about the MBA Career Services office, information about our MBAs, steps on how to effectively hire our students, and ways you can lend your expertise or sponsor an event.
